報告題目:Pseudocapacitance-enhanced battery performance of array electrodes

范紅金教授簡介:
范紅金目前是新加坡南洋理工大學物理系副教授。1999年獲吉林大學學士學位,2003年獲新加坡國立大學博士學位,其后分別在德國馬普研究所和英國劍橋大學任博士后研究員。2008年加入南洋理工大學任“南洋助理教授”。
范教授的主要研究領(lǐng)域包括納米材料在能源中的應(yīng)用,包括儲能電池材料,和太陽能材料,納米異質(zhì)結(jié)的合成,表征,和界面物理現(xiàn)象。
目前,范教授以通訊作者或合作者發(fā)表近170多篇文章,根據(jù)Web of Science統(tǒng)計,引用超過12000多次,其中37篇為“ISI 高引論文”,H因子為56。
范教授擔任5個國際著名期刊編輯和編委(Nanotechnology, Adv Mater Interface, Advanced Science, Adv Mater Technology)以及多個大型國際基金的評審。此外,還多次組織參與在美國(MRS),中國(納米與能源青年論壇等) 和新加坡 (ICMAT) 國際會議的組織。
報告摘要:
Nanoarray electrodes are particularly investigated for power source in microelectronics, which requires high rates, high areal capacity/capacitance and long cycle stability. When the electrode materials are designed into thin nanosheets, we may have new charge storage processes that can boost the high-rate performance and long-cycle stability. Our group has been actively working on core-shell nanoarray materials directly on conductive substrates as electrodes for batteries and supercapacitros. In this talk, I will first introduce our recent result in nanostructured array electrodes for both Li-ion and Na-ion storage, and elaboration on the contribution of extrinsic pseudocapacitance contribution in 2D nanosheets materials (vanadium oxide based, tin sulphides). In addition, surface engineering and functionalization strategies, including atomic layer deposition (ALD) and carbon dots will be mentioned for performance enhancement.
